Havaianas has launched a range of flip-flops that suit any age and occasion and combine style with comfort.
The Brazilian flip-flop manufacturer has last year signed an exclusive agreement with AP group for the distribution of Havaianas in India. Plans are to reach one million pairs in 3 years. Only three months into the business and we already boast over 20 points of sale across the country. With the help of our already well-established network we are looking to create a brand in the eyes of the Indian consumer. The aim is to attain the recognition it holds internationally.
The first initiative in our marketing plan has been to partner with sunburn, an international music festival in Goa. It has been ranked the 9th best festival in the world and has an attendance of over 100,000! Sharing the same target audience, Havaianas is a strategic fit into the brand of sunburn. Which is why we went to the extent of creating a special product for the event.
